As a Content Strategist, it is important to have an understanding of the websites pages in order to improve the SEO from a content perspective.
The challenge was to analyze the websites current SEO performance and suggest recommendations and improvements in areas that are a part of the core SEO. To limit the scope, we were required to focus on analyzing on-page performance of various web pages on the website.

Introduction
The content that we create for our organizations will not achieve its purpose if the target audience cannot find it, therefore it is vital for all the pages on our websites to be optimized for SEO to maximize its findability by our target audience and search rankings.
In order to make recommendations for improvements, we were required to focus on keyword research, on-page optimizations and the websites content performance as it relates to conversions. The suggestive recommendations were made for the content that is currently live along with what can be improved, added or removed.
We were required to provide supporting information to demonstrate our understanding of how to investigate various SEO factors that are important for each web page in order to make informed recommendations and fixes. As in a real life scenario, we would be presenting our findings to our superiors or clients, therefore, the presentation was important to ensure easy understanding and relaying the purpose of the work.
Focus Elements
Page Title
Reporting the actual Page Titles found for each of the pages/URLs selected for the activity along with the total character count for the length, and whether it is good or could use improvements. If the page(s) didn’t have a title, it was required to suggest one with a supporting rationale.
Meta Description It was required to report the actual current Meta Description found for each of the pages/URLs along with the total character count for the length, and feedback/ recommendations about why it is suitable or could use improvements. If the page didn’t have one, it was required to suggest one with a supporting rationale.
Headings Analyzing the headings for their relevance and character length, providing feedback/ recommendations for the same. If the page didn’t have a meta description already, we were required to suggest one based on a rationale.
Image Alt Text It was required to report the total number of images on the page and their current Alt Texts, suggesting recommendations for improvement of existing or suggesting new ones for images that have no Alt text.
Keyword Focus For each of the pages/URLs providing a short brief about the keyword focus for each page and making recommendations backed by justification for the same.
